  3. Put First Things First
    • Learn to prioritize, put the most important items at the top of your to-do list
    • Manage your time well
    • Focus
    • Complete important tasks before less important ones
    • i.e. (in I.T. lingo) Run the program
  4. Think Win Win
    • Look for mutually beneficial solutions to difficulties
    • Let go of 'my way' and 'your way' and look for a better way
  5. Seek First to Understand, Then Be Understood
    • Practise active, empathetic listening
    • Create an atmosphere of caring and respect
  6. Synergize
    • Value differences
    • Cooperate
    • Work in teams, combining each person's strength for a much better outcome
  7. Sharpen the Saw
    • Renew and strengthen the body, the brain, the spirit and the soul
